Toyota recently unveiled the sporty compact 2023 GR Corolla Hatchback. Taking square aim at the likes of Civic Type R and Golf GTi, the auto comes complete with 300 hoursepower, a six-speed manual, variable all-wheel-drive system, and track-tuned suspension courtesy of Toyota’s Gazoo Racing team. The GR Corolla utilizes a turbocharged 1.3-liter cylinder making 300 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, driving all four wheels with selectable 60/40, 50/50, or 30/70 front-rear torque splits and front and rear Torsen limited-slip differentials. Look for the 2023 GR Corolla Hatchback to arrives in early 2023.
