Based on reports coming out of this weekend, The Matrix Resurrections has burst on the scene with a $69.8 million USD opening weekend globally. The film hit theaters as well as HBO Max on December 22nd. The the film reported its top ten markets in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Seattle, Atlanta and Washington DC, respectively.
