‘Dune’ is on pace to lead this weekend’s domestic box office numbers to the tune of an estimated $33 million USD in its opening weekend. The Dennis Villeneuve version opened with $17.5 million on its October 22nd premier date. As of now, the film has earned $130 million USD internationally. No word yet on a sequel, but odds are high that this isn’t the last we’re going to see of this ensemble cast.
