John Gruden’s time as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders has come to an end. Emails in a separate workplace misconduct case show that Grudent went far beyond the previously disclosed racist comments. According to reports by the NFL Network and ESPN which cut into its broadcast of Monday Night Football during the first half announced that Gruden would no longer be coaching the Raiders.
Gruden has had a history of bad behavior. Gruden exchanged emails with others that included photos of women wearing only bikini bottoms, including one photo of two Washington team cheerleaders.
Gruden also criticized President Obama during his re-election campaign in 2012, as well as then-vice president Joe Biden, whom Gruden called a “nervous clueless pussy.” He used similar words to describe Goodell and DeMaurice Smith, the executive director of the N.F.L. Players Association.
