With weeks of buzz and rumors building, Amazon has announced that it will be officially launching its own lineup of branded televisions. The TVs will be available in two formats. Amazon Fire TV Omni Series will be its premium line while the Amazon Fire TV 4 Series will offer more affordable options. Omni Series will come in 43, 50, 55, 65 and 75 inch models with HDR10, hybrid log gamma HDR as well as Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Vision. The TV 4 Series will come in 43, 50 and 55 inch options and will also be equipped with HDR10 and HLG. Both sets will be powered by Amazon’s Alexa AI. No official word yet on the release date, but all new Amazon TVs will be available exclusively on Amazon and Best Buy, with the Omni Series ranging from $410 to $1,100 USD and the 4 Series starting at $370 and going up to $550 USD.
