TMZ is reporting that Michael K. Williams, the actor most known for his role as Omar Little on ‘The Wire’ was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment today. The cause of death is a suspected drug overdose. Williams has starred in several HBO series including “Boardwalk Empire,” “The Night Of” and more recently “Lovecraft Country” — as well as movies like “12 Years a Slave” and “Assassin’s Creed.” He is survived by his son Elijah.
