As a follow up to Piet Parra’s first SB Dunk collaboration in 2019, the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low is a 2021 creation by the famous Dutch artist and Nike’s skateboarding division. This abstract sneaker coincides with the 2021 Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan, an event where skateboarding became an Olympic sport for the first time.
Complimenting the uniforms that were designed by Parra and worn by the USA, Brazil, France, and Japan Olympic skate teams, the Nike Dunk Low SB features a colorful geometric pattern in Parra’s signature style, incorporating blues, pinks, reds, oranges, and more into the design. The colorful panels of the dunk are backed with cream white leather on the upper, while a free-floating black Swoosh is found on the left and right sides.
Retailing for $1,545 USD the the Nike Dunk Low SB “Parra – Abstract Art” is officially available for purchase on the Stadium Goods website.
