Twitter has officially rolled out its much rumored about subscription service. Dubbed Twitter Blue, the service is making its debut in Australia and Canada prior to expanding to other markets. According to Twitter, the new service will have bookmark folders, an undo tweet feature, and reader mode, in addition to “other fun surprises.”
“[We] are developing and iterating upon a solution that will give the people who use Twitter the most what they are looking for: access to exclusive features and perks that will take their experience on Twitter to the next level,” the company said, adding that that a free version of Twitter will always remain in place. “This subscription offering is simply meant to add enhanced and complementary features to the already existing Twitter experience for those who want it.”
The service will be available for a monthly price of $3.49 CAD or $4.49 AUD.
