Following the agreed buyout with the Detroit Pistons, Blake Griffin has cleared waivers and is expected to sign with the Brooklyn Nets according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Griffin had been with the Pistons since 2018 and agreed to give back $13 million USD to buy his way out of Detroit and make him a free agent. Griffin will be teaming up with former Pistons teammate DeAndre Jordan and current big three Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. The Brooklyn Nets are clearly loading up to make a championship run this season.
