According to reports, Apple (NASDAQ: APPL) will be sunsetting its iMac Pro. The $4,999 USD is still available on Apple’s website for the time being, but once they are sold out, they will be gone for good. Originally making its debut in 2017, the iMac Pro was position by Apple at the time as “by far the most powerful iMac we’ve ever made” and was targeted at professionals who needed fast processing and tons of computing horsepower. Since its release, the machine has received very little upgrades. Apple is in the process of moving forward with new iMacs and mini Mac Pros that will surpass the capabilities of the iMac Pro.
