It’s that time of the year when 44 drops is annual favorites list. Barack Obama’s list includes everything from Mac Miller to J. Cole. In a recent interview he shared that he created his list with the help of daughters Sasha and Malia who consults with throughout the year. “I’m constantly listening to their music. Sometimes by request, and sometimes just because that’s what’s blaring in the house, you know, I pick up on some trends,” he said. “Sasha’s more protective of her music. There’s certain things on SoundCloud… she has a like a private playlist. She won’t share all of it with me because she’s not sure I’m hip enough to handle it. No man, you know, I’m keeping up… for an old guy.”
