APPLE CLOSES CALIFORNIA STORES DUE TO SPIKE IN COVID-19 CASES

Following the continued spike in COVID-19 cases in California, Apple announced Saturday that it will be closing each of the 53 stores in the state. This news comes after an announcement made on Friday by Apple that would be closing stores. In response to the decision to close the stores, Apple shared in a statement: “Due to current COVID-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in these areas. We take this step with an abundance of caution as we closely monitor the situation and we look forward to having our teams and customers back as soon as possible.” As of now, there is no end date for the closures.
