According to several reports, adidas is currently reevaluating its business for the next five years and that includes taking into consideration what it plans to do with Reebok. adidas originally purchase Reebok in 2006 for $3.8 billion USD. Now adidas is looking to offload the brand for around $2.4 billion USD. A number of parties have shown interest including private equity firms Permira and Triton, VF Corp and Anta International Group Holdings.
