Former Zappos CEO and Web 2.0 entrepreneur Tony Hsieh passed away yesterday at the age of 46. Tony lived built his business around the motto “Delivering Happiness”. This was the mindset and culture that he built at Zappos. Hsieh was also instrumental in the revitalization of downtown Las Vegas as a place to build a start up when he moved Zappos to Vegas. Hsieh will also be remembered for a number of startup investments through his venture firm Venture Frogs. His death was reportedly related to complications from injuries he suffered from a recent house fire.
