The NBA has announced that the upcoming 2020-2021 season will tip off just be fore Christmas Day on December 22nd. Full schedules have not been fully fleshed out, but the upcoming season will be shortened from the traditional 82 game season to 72 games concluding in June of 2021. This also gives players the opportunity to take part in he 2021 Summer Olympic games. No word yet on where the games will be played.
