WARNER BROS REPORTEDLY OFFERING JOAQUIN PHOENIX $50M USD FOR ‘JOKER’ TRILOGY

Following the Academy Award success and critical acclaim of Joker, Warner Bros. Pictures is going after star Joaquin Phoenix for a Joker trilogy series. Based on some of the reports that are floating around, the studio is reportedly ready to offer the actor $50 million USD to play the Joker in two additional films that are said to be released over the next four years. The original film was slated to be a standalone, but Phoenix has expressed interest in reprising his role as Arthur Fleck. Warner Bros. is also looking to secure director Todd Phillips and producer Bradley Cooper for the upcoming films.
