According to reports, Margot Robbie is set to star in a stand-alone franchise reboot of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. The project is not intended to be a spinoff of the long-running franchise that featured Jack Sparrow. This will have its own story complete with new characters. Other details of the project are scarce, but the project will be written and directed by Christina Hodson who wrote Birds of Prey.
