K-Swiss recently announced that it has linked up with Heal the Bay – a non-profit organization dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of Los Angeles safe – to create a new style inspired by California’s state fish, the Orange Garibaldi.
K-Swiss and Heal the Bay’s Orange Garibaldi sneaker pays homage to California’s state fish and is available for both adults and kids.
The shoes feature bright orange fish scale textured material to imitate the look of the species and eco-friendly materials, including cellulose-based water soluble and biodegrade and bloom foam algae based sustainable midsole foam that helps to reduce their impact on the environment.
Launching on Wednesday, May 27th, the shoes will be available for purchase on KSwiss.com and will retail for $80 USD adults (men and women) and $50 USD for kids. All proceeds from the sales of the shoes will go to support Heal the Bay.
