Ford’s highly anticipated Mach-E made its official debut tonight in Los Angeles. The Mach-E is Ford’s first foray into the world of e-vehicles. Touted as a performance SUV, the latest addition to the Ford family is part of an $11 billion plan to develop 40 new all-electric and hybrid models by 2022.
From what we know thus far, top performance models of the Mach-E will achieve 0-60 miles per hour in the mid-3-second range with an estimated 459 horsepower and 612 lb.-ft. of torque. Depending on the model, you can expect between 210 miles to 300 miles on a single charge.
With pricing for the Mach-E starts just under $44,000 USD, look for them to start arriving in showrooms in late 2020 to Spring 2021.
