Known as one of our generation’s most visionary individuals, Elon Musk has dedicated the past twenty years to doing the unthinkable and reshaping a number of industries from automobiles to space. What if he turned his attention to the smartphone industry. Designer Martin Hajek has offered up a rendering of what a Tesla smarphone could look like.
The Tesla Model P smartphone sports the same design aesthetic as you would find in the lineup of Tesla cars. Boasting a glossy red finish on the back with a spine-like fin that runs from the length of the device, the mobile phone concept is an homage to Tesla’s design DNA. Other features include a sporty carbon fiber speaker grill and a Model S/X style notch for the front camera.
This phone will probably never see the light of day, but it is fascinating to see what Elon Musk has inspired and what is possible.
