Facebook is reportedly working on releasing its GlobalCoin cryptocurrency in 2020 under its “Project Libra” arm. Facebook is looking to test its GlobalCoin system by the end of 2019 and expects to rollout the payment system by Q1 2020. The social network has sought the counsel of the U.S. Treasury in regards to avoiding any operational or regulatory issues.
