Land Rover continues to add to its product offerings with the release of the Range Rover Sport HST, the first mild electric hybrid from the British SUV manufacturer. The cornerstone of he Sport HST SUV is the new Ingenium inline-six motor. Giving the HST its power is a 48-VOLT electrical system that recovers energy while driving and offers up a boost at takeoff from standstill. This equates to 395 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, which Land Rover says is enough to launch the Range Rover Sport from zero to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds.  Other features include 16-way power seats trimmed in a red-and-black color scheme and host of technological amenities.  The HST SUV will release in London with a U.S roll-out still to be determined.
