With Apple’s stock taking a beating due in part to waning interest in its flagship iPhone device, the Cupertino-based tech giant is looking to revive interest in its phones. Industry insider @onleaks has shared design renderings of a successor to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max that utilizes a triple rear camera with a set-up, unlike anything we’ve seen before. It’s also possible that Apple will be utilizing Time of Flight tech within their cameras, which resolves distance based on the speed of light and measures the light signal between the camera and subject in each image. This is about as compelling of a case for a new iPhone and the timing is perfect to reintroduce a fresh device to the market.
