Niantic, the developers of the wildly popular game Pokémon Go enjoyed a stellar 2018. The company is now valued at $4 billion USD. This is due in large part to the $795 million USD that the company raked in last year. According to reports, the game grew 35% from 2017 with Japan and America leading the way in spending at 30% and 33% respectively. At this pace the game is expected to eclipse $3 billion USD in lifetime revenue by year’s end.
