According to The Hollywood Reporter, original Black Panther filmmaker Ryan Coogler has officially signed on to direct and write the forthcoming sequel for the massively successful film. Sources close to the situation stated that Marvel and Coogler quietly reached an agreement to bring him back. Coogler will begin working on the storyline for the sequel in “late 2019 or early 2020.”
