Local Pittsburgh record label Nightfall Records is planning to hold a vigil for Mac Miller at Blue Slide Park. Mac Miller named his debut album after the park that is just a few minutes away from his high school.
“We would like to bring the city together in full force for this legendary icon,” Nightfall Records said in a Facebook post. “Mac deserves to be sent off with an evening of celebrating his life, discussing his struggles, and remembering his stories; most importantly for his iconic work that brought joy into the lives of everybody who listened.”
The public vigil will take place on September 11th at 7:00pm at the Frick Park section of Blue Slide Park. Head over to the Nightfall Records Facebook page.
