EMINEM’S ‘KAMIKAZE’ DEBUTS NO. 1 ON BILLBOARD 200

Two weeks ago, Eminem dropped a surprise album Kamikaze that has been well received from fans and critics alike. On the album, Em addresses a few individuals directly and indirectly. For its effort, the album has raced to the top spot on the Billboard 200.

This marks the ninth No. 1 album for him. The LP moved roughly 434,000 equivalent units, with 252,000 in traditional album sales. This is a big difference from his last album Revival which only moved 267,000 in its first week.

Eminem ranks only behind The Beatles (19), Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand (11) and Elvis Presley (10), for the most No. 1 albums in history.
