The mobile app opened itself to monetization on March 15th. The average daily spend increased threefold, from $620,000 to over $1.8 million in a single day. Fortnite topped the iOS charts in 47 countries within 24 hours of its mobile launch and made $1 million in its first three days. The game has been so popular that schools are concerned over distracted students playing the title during class.
