DISNEY IS DONATING $1 MILLION USD FROM “BLACK PANTHER” TO FUND STEM PROGRAMS

Disney is donating $1 million USD from the Black Panther film to fund STEM programs for kids across the country. The donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America will be used to help educate kids in underserved areas of the US in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Disney is demonstrating how you take one success and create additional successful moments. A STEM Center Of Innovation will be located in Oakland, California.

In a statement, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger noted that Black Panther is a “masterpiece of movie making” that is “sparking discussion, inspiring people young and old, and breaking down age-old industry myths.”
