For the sixth year in a row, tech titan Google has been named the top place to work. The Mountain View-based company is known for its lavish perks, free gourmet food, haircuts and much-envied laundry services.
Why this matters: Google has championed increased parental-leave policies, for example, after finding that mothers were leaving at higher rates—the result was a 50% reduction in attrition for working moms.
