KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE TOPS BOX OFFICE WITH $100.2 MILLION

Following a solid two-week run at the box office, IT, has been dethroned by the Kingsman. 20th Century Fox’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle took in $39 million domestically and $61.2 million internationally in its opening weekend. With director Matthew Vaught back at the helm directing, the film was made for about $104 million and stars Colin Ferth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Sir Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges. Rounding out the top three spots were IT and the new Lego Ninjago Movie which brought in $30 million and $21.2 million respectively.
