‘FORBES’ RELEASES ITS LIST OF THE WORLD’S HIGHEST PAID DJS OF 2017

Forbes has released its annual list of highest paid DJs and the list includes a few mainstays as well as some newcomers. Topping the list at close to $50 million USD in earnings is Calvin Harris. It’s worth noting that Calvin Harris actually dropped $15 million USD. The Chainsmokers who are making the list for the first time came in at #3 with an estimated $38 million USD in earnings. Skrillex and Steve Aoki round out the top five list with $30 million USD and $29.5 millions USD respectively.

Here’s how Forbes arrives at its rankings:

Our rankings of the world’s highest-paid DJs take into account earnings from June 2016 through June 2017. Fees for agents, managers and lawyers are not subtracted. We create our list with the help of data from Nielsen, Pollstar, Bandsintown, Songkick, as well as interviews with industry insiders and some of the DJs themselves.
