JAY-Z’s 4:44 album recently made news when it was certified platinum by the RIAA in less than a week of sales. Yesterday, the music video for “The Story of O.J.” was uploaded to JAY’s YouTube account, making it the first part of the project to be made available for everyone. A lot of people are speculating if 4:44 will be visual album a la Bey’s Lemonade.
“‘The Story of OJ’ is really a song about we as a culture, having a plan, how we’re gonna push this forward,” Jay reflected to iHeartRadio in an interview about his latest album. “We all make money, and then we all lose money, as artists especially. But how, when you have some type of success, to transform that into something bigger.”
