It has been over 20 years since Nas & Lauryn Hill hooked up on the 1996 smash “If I Ruled The World”. The pair are reuniting for a North American tour dubbed Life Is Good/Black Rage Tour. Lauryn Hill kicks the tour off next month before eventually joining up with Nas in September along with Chronixx and Hannibal Buress on a few select dates. In speaking about the tour, Hill reflected,

“I use the performance platform as an opportunity to express the energy of that moment, and the intention behind it. I’ve been a long standing rebel against the stale, over-commoditization. As artists, we have opportunity to help the public evolve, raise consciousness and awareness; teach, heal, enlighten and inspire in ways the democratic process may not be able to touch. So we keep it moving.”

Nas added, “This is history. Better late than never.”
