LUDACRIS GETS INTO THE MOBILE GAME MARKET WITH ‘SLANG N’ FRIENDZ’

Given the fact that Kim Kardashian is earning a reported $72 million per year on her mobile app, you could argue that celebrities are leaving a sizable chunk of money on the table. Rapper and actor Ludacris is taking steps to secure his bag. He is getting into the mobile gaming app market with the release of Slang N’ Friendz. As you would guess, it is based off the hit mobile game Words With Friends. Ludacris partnered with filmmaker and startup founder Edwin Benton on the effort.

“I feel like pop culture dictates what is considered as cool in this world,” Ludacris told TechCrunch. “And I think bringing people together and not limiting them to what everyone feels the dictionary is in terms of the English language, brings people closer together. It’s a cool element to it.”
