In an industry that is heavily dominated by males, it was nice to see a change at the top. The highest earning actor of 2016 is none other than Scarlett Johansson. Over the last twelve months, Johansson raked in over $1.2 billion USD due in large part to her role as Black Widow in Captain America: Civil War. Marvel also saw two of its other actors land in the top three spots with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr each took home $1.5 billion USD. Rounding out the top of five are a pair of kickass females, Margot Robbie ($1.1 billion USD) and Amy Adams ($1.04 billion USD). Here’s a look at the top 10 list according to Forbes.
