Bottega Veneta has linked up with Photographer Viviane Sassen once again for a new campaign. The Italian luxury fashion house pays homage to Italian artist Alberto Burri and takes to the landscape artwork of Cretto di Burri. Originally left unfinished due to lack of financial support, the artwork was eventually completed in 2015 to celebrate what would have been Burri’s 100th birthday.
In discussing the campaign, Bottega Veneta creative director Tomas Maier shares, “Vivianne’s photography has an inescapable enigmatic quality to it, a refinement and acute independence. Together, we have explored both the artistic landmarks for the campaigns that are more than a backdrop, but rather an added voice to our collaboration.”
