Ford’s ferocious F-150 Raptor has always been One of the most capable and technologically sound trucks on the road. For 2017, Ford ups the ante with the latest iteration. The 2017 version features a twin-turbo, inter-cooled 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine, that’s more than the prior model’s 6.2 liter V8 while weighing 500 pounds lighter courtesy of a “high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy” body. New for 2017 is a boxed steel frame, 10-speed automatic transmission and 17-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires specifically designed for the Raptor. We expect the base price to be anywhere between $50,000 – $53,000 when the next gen Raptor hits showrooms later this year.
