NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: MEN’S ANNOUNCES NEW SHOW DATES AND VENUE

The dates for New York Fashion Week: Men’s has been released. The event will now be calling Skylight Clarkson North home and will be running from February 1st through February 4th.  This is a change from the Skylight Clarkson Square where the event was held this past July. Originally the 2016 dates were to have been January 28th -31st. As for the reason for the change in dates, Mark Beckham, the business director of fashion week for the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which organizes the event, stated, “The dates were adjusted due to the European show and market schedule which runs through the end of January.” The roster for show will be showing will be completed in the coming weeks as invitations have gone out to designers. Beckham adds, “We are excited about continuing the momentum from July by providing a world class platform for American menswear designers to show their fall/winter collections.”
