STYLE + TIMES: NCAA FINAL FOUR WITH BUICK

As a proud and long time sponsor of the NCAA Final Four, Buick invited us to be a part of the entire Final Four Experience in Indianapolis. We were blessed to receive tickets and credentials to the semifinal games, Fan Fest, the pre-game parties hosted by Turner/CBS as well as tickets to the championship game. We also got to attend a rooftop concert by Journey. The entire vibe of the whole weekend was electric.  It was great seeing everyone supporting their respective teams.

One of our favorite experiences from the entire weekend was getting a chance to check out local vendors, the farmers market and the local restaurants.  Most times when I travel, it’s not about me discovering what a city has to offer.  It’s more about letting the city open itself up and discovering things organically.

A truly memorable experience took place when we had some down time and took a 2015 Buick LaCrosse out for a spin around the city. A few seconds after hitting the OnStar button we had our directions to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  We spent the afternoon touring the facility and the track, which was just absolutely amazing.

As part of the #ExperienceBuick experience, we had a private all access tour of Lucas Oil stadium. This is a stadium that we’ve seen hundreds of times on T.V., but to see it in person was absolutely amazing.  There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes to execute an event like the Final Four that is almost impossible to comprehend.

Following our tour of Lucas Oil Stadium we were whisked away to the Buick Arena where we met Buick’s Sales Promotion Manager, Chris Hornberger, who gave us a thorough overview of Buick’s marketing display and some of the fun things they had planned for fans during the weekend. We also had the chance to get hands on with the highly anticipated 2016 Cascada luxury convertible.

No trip would be complete without talking about the local fare.  If you find yourself in Indianapolis, we would definitely recommend the Colts Grill, Spoke & Steele, Cerulean and Union 50.  We can’t say enough great things about the food, service and the overall experience at these establishments.

Duke went on to defeat Wisconsin in the championship game and cemented Coach K’s place in history. We cannot thank Buick enough for having us be a part of such an amazing experience and big thank you to the city of Indianapolis, Indiana for your hospitality.  Looking forward to coming back.

Thank you to mophie for keeping our phones charged while we were on the go.
