UNIQLO, the global clothing retailer, will celebrate SPRZ NY’s first anniversary with a fresh collection of products and accessories inspired by modern and contemporary art. Featuring new artist collaborations and a continuing partnership with The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the spring/summer SPRZ NY collection will introduce specially designed items based on work by Anni Albers, Josef Albers, Jennifer Bartlett, Sol LeWitt, Aleksander Rodchenko, and the Stenberg Brothers and returning artists Jean-Michel Basquiat, Matthew Brannon, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, Robert Mapplethorpe, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol. This line includes MoMA Special Edition items inspired by artwork from the Museum’s collection, underscoring UNIQLO’s ongoing support of MoMA and commitment to making iconic works of art accessible to people around the world.

To celebrate the first anniversary of SPRZ NY, UNIQLO will host a series of exciting weekend events:

Friday, March 27 – The Art of Discovery will be a scavenger hunt from MoMA to the UNIQLO Fifth Avenue store during MOMA’s UNIQLO Free Friday Nights from 4-8 pm. Post your pics on Instagram to unlock special gifts and surprises.

Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29: Design your own UTme! T-shirt with the help of artists and influencers at the UNIQLO Fifth Avenue store.

Saturday, April 11 – An SPRZ NY Art Tour to explore New York City and learn about pop art history at three secret locations.

Friday, April 17 – Design your own UTme! T-shirt at MoMA’s UNIQLO Free Friday Nights from 4-8pm.
