Nike presents the “Air Diamond Turf II FSU which is a nod to the rich sports history of the Florida State Seminoles, specifically the football program. For me, growing up in Tallahassee I personally lived through the Deon Sanders, Derrick Brooks, Warrick Dunn, Charlie Ward and the national championship eras. The Noles kick off the season on August 30th ranked #1 against Oklahoma State at AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas. To commemorate the new season, Nike taps a classic off-the-gridiron silhouette from the golden era of football accented with garnet and hints of gold, as well as ”FSU” initials emblazoned on the mid-foot strap, as an homage to the spirit and tradition of Florida State. Other features include a tomahawk on the heel tab and a Native American designs at the lining. The Nike Air Diamond Turf II Premium “FSU” will be available via Nike on August 28th.
