When it comes to smartphones its a two horse race between Samsung and Apple. With much of the attention focused on the forthcoming release of the iPhone 6, Samsung is getting an early jump on releases and has officially unveiled the Galaxy Alpha. Featuring an ultra-slim and light design, the Alpha comes with a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display, along with an advanced camera and real time HDR. Other features of note include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, LTE-A support, a 1860mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor and a 12 megapixel rear camera with a 2.1MP front camera. When the Galaxy Alpha releases in September, it is expected to come in a variety of colors including Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver, and Scuba Blue.
