Yesterday we reported that the iPhone 6 is set to be released on September 19th.  To further substantiate the release of the new iPhone, tech blog Engadget is reporting that Walmart is permanently slashing the prices of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. The entry-level (16 GB) iPhone 5S will cost $99 with a two-year contract contract. The entry-level (16 GB) iPhone 5C will cost $29 with a two-year contract. We have seen deals like this in the past from the world’s largesy retailer, but this is the first time we are seeing a permanent price adjustment. If you can afford to wait, then hold off for the iPhone 6.  If not, this is a great time to pick up a new iPhone. From everything that we are hearing the primary difference between the 5s and the 6 variants is going to be screen size.
