In an announcement that was rumored to have been in the works for the last several months, Jeff Bezos officially unveiled Amazon’s first ever smartphone. The Fire Phone which will be available starting July 25th will retail for $199 with a two year contract exclusively on AT&T. The Fire Phone sports a 4.7-inch, 720p display, aluminum buttons, a Qualcomm processor, Adreno 330 graphics, and 2GB of RAM.
The Snapdragon 800 processor enables visually stunning graphics, outstanding battery life, blazing fast apps and web browsing, breakthrough multimedia capabilities and smooth communication anytime and anywhere.
Measuring in at 0.35 inches thick and weighing 5.64 ounces, the phone also features a front-facing 2.1-megapixel camera along with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera equipped with a f/2.0 lens and optical image stabilization.

The most notable feature of the all new phone from Bezos and Co., is a three-dimensional interface. Using four infrared cameras in conjunction with one another each with a 120-degree field of view and global shutter, the phone boasts a unique head-tracking “Dynamic Perspective” that moves along with the user.
