As far as music goes, Nas is one of the most intelligent artists out there. To that end, Nas is lending his talents yet again to the world of education. Nas has partnered with General Assembly, a private technical school in New York, to create a fund designed to increase minority participation in technology. Nas has also tapped Google and Microsoft to help fund the new venture. Scholarships aimed at African-American and Latinos will be funded through Nas’ own Queensbridge Venture Partners. Google’s and Microsoft’s contributions will be used to fund scholarships for women and veterans respectively.
