When it comes to rolling out a new model of one of its most beloved autos, Rolls-Royce doesn’t just go through the motions and release a modest facelift. Instead, the luxury automobile maker presents an all new redesigned Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II. Measuring in slightly smaller than its Phantom sibling, the Series II gets a host of feature upgrades including a “wake channel” that appears just behind the Spirit of Ecstacy’s wings and stretches the length of the hood. Other features include a 10.25″ HD display in the dash, a Spirit of Ecstacy Rotary Controller and Rolls-Royce’s GPS-powered Satellite Aided Transmission.
Under the hood is a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that spits out 563 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. In case you were wondering if this car was for you, Rolls-Royce has answered that question for you. Customers who’ll buy the Ghost Series II, says Rolls, are “the captains of industry, entrepreneurs and successful businessmen and women who are the wealth and job creators in our economies.” The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II will be in showrooms in the coming weeks.
