The relationship between automobiles and blockbuster movies isn’t a new concept. Most recently we can look to the last Iron Man movie and the partnership it had with Audi. So it’s no surprise that Warner Bros. reached out to an automaker to partner for one of its most anticipated pictures ever. Warner Bros. has partnered with RAM to release a “Man of Steel” edition of its storied 1500 truck. The truck is set to make its debut during the films upcoming premier in New York.
As you can imagine, this isn’t your everyday truck. It features a Dark Ceramic Gray paint job with a high-gloss black roof, anodized red grille accents, forged aluminum, satin-black 17-inch off-road wheels, and a custom wrap inspired by Superman’s suit. The truck also features 17-inch black wheels, mesh seats and Superman logos carefully placed throughout the cabin. As part of the launch, the “Man of Steel” edition will feature a cobranded :30 commercial and print ad drawn by DC Comics artist Shane Davis.
