By notching his fourth MVP title in five years, LeBron James joins an elite fraternity. LeBron joins Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell as the only players in the NBA to have been named MVP at least four times.
Every year that LeBron has been in the league, he has added dimensions to his game that make him the complete player. He not only makes himself better, but he also elevates the play of those around him. By definition that is the essence of the league’s Most Valuable Player.
LeBron lead the Heat to a league best 66-16 record which has highlighted by a 27 game winning streak. Like him or not, LeBron is a once in a generation individual and we’re glad to be along for the ride. The NBA has put together a few of his career highlights dating back to draft day, his days in Cleveland and ultimately being awarded his fourth MVP. Enjoy!
