If you’ve followed the tech industry or Facebook for that matter, there have been as many rumors of Facebook going IPO as there have been about a “Facebook phone”. Yesterday, Facebook announced their phone.  Well, sort of.  It’s really more of Facebook integrating into an HTC smartphone by way of Facebook Home.

With Home, you no longer have to launch an app or visit the site through a web browser.  All of your stories, friends updates, messages and pictures will be delivered right to the home screen.  The HTC First runs Android 4.1 Jelly Been and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with dual core CPU, and features a 4.3 inch glass display.  Check out the video above for a better idea as to how Home works.
